The Islamic Center of Morgantown (ICM) is a non-profit religious organization committed to serving the best interests of Islam and the Muslim community in North-central West Virginia. Guided by the principles of Islam, ICM supports a wide range of religious, charitable, educational, and cultural activities. Our mission is to help Muslims practice Islam as a complete way of life while fostering understanding and cooperation with our broader community. We aim to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect among Muslims and non-Muslims alike, offering programs and outreach that promote awareness of Islamic teachings and values.
ICM operates in accordance with Islamic principles and is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code. All resources and activities are directed toward fulfilling our religious, charitable, and educational goals; no funds are distributed for personal gain. While ICM does not endorse or campaign for political candidates, we encourage civic engagement and work to inform our members about issues that affect our communities. ICM is proudly affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), and maintains its center at 434 Harding Avenue in Morgantown, WV, or at another location designated by its leadership.
