The Day of ‘Arafah &  Eid al Adha

As Salaamu Alaikum,

Alhamdulillah, we are blessed with the month of Dhul-Hijjah, we remind ourselves of increasing remembrance (dhikr) of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.

The Day of ‘Arafah will be on Saturday, August 10.
Eid al Adha will be Sunday, August 11.

Takbeerat starts at 8:30 AM and prayer starts at 9:00 AM sharp

Ramadan 1440 Starts tonight

Ramadan 1440 (2019)

Ramadan begins tonight at sundown. Taraweeh will begin tonight immediately following Isha prayer.

The first day of fasting will be tomorrow, Monday May 6.

There will be Iftar every night at the Masjid for brothers and sisters. On Fridays, Iftar will be at North Elementary.

Eid al Fitr will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Eid Party/Picnic

The Eid Picnic will be for the entire ICM community on Sunday June 17, 2018 from noon to 6 PM at Chestnut Ridge Park (Feather Pavillion) located at 346 Chestnut Ridge Camp Rd, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525. This will be a potluck – please bring a dish to share with the community!

Ramadan 2018

As-salamu alaikum,

According to ISNAN, the moon will be born today and it will be expected to be seen on the horizon in LA for about 26 min after sunset on May 15, 2018.
It is possible to sight the moon using a telescope and it will be visible in the evening in Hawaii and the Pacific Polynesian islands.

Therefore, our first day of Ramadan is going to betomorrow inshallah and Taraweeh prayer will start from this evening after the Isha prayer
